How to merge PDFs and put pages in order
Combine PDFs and images, reorder source files and pages, and check the combined document before sharing.
Open Merge PDFPrepare the files
Open Merge PDF and select the PDFs you want to combine. You can also add JPG or PNG images. Give source files recognizable names before selecting them so it is easier to check the order.
The workspace accepts up to 30 input files, with a 100 MB limit per file and a 200 MB combined limit. Device memory can impose a lower practical limit. Divide a large job into smaller batches if your browser cannot complete it.
Set the order before merging
Use the file arrows to move each source earlier or later in the list. Pages from the first file appear before pages from the second. Preview the files to check that you included the right version and all necessary pages.
Select Merge files and inspect the combined result. Download it before closing or refreshing the tab: processing takes place on your device, and Setly Docs does not keep a cloud copy.
Reorder individual pages
To move individual pages after merging, open the combined file in Organize Pages. Use the page controls to move, rotate or remove a page, then process and download the revised document. Check both the beginning and end of the result.
Resolve protected or mismatched files
If a source PDF is password-protected, open Unlock PDF with its current password first. Setly Docs cannot recover a forgotten password. Use only files you have permission to edit.
Different page sizes can remain different in the combined document. If a consistent paper size is important, use Resize PDF and preview the result. Check form behavior and signatures separately; combining files is not a way to validate a digital signature.
